Bethesda, Md.—The Automotive Communications Council (ACC), a community of the Auto Care Association, has announced the launch of the ACC Scholarship, created in partnership with the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF).
The ACC has committed $5,000 this year in support of the scholarship program for the next two years to help expand the scholarship fund and to provide opportunities for students pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket industry.
The ACC Scholarship will award $2,500 per year to a student pursuing a career within the automotive aftermarket industry. Priority will be given to students at two-or four-year colleges with a course in marketing, public relations, journalism, advertising or a related field in the aftermarket.
The scholarship program is part of a centralized location for scholarships available to students looking to have a career in the automotive aftermarket and commercial vehicle industry. Over $900,000 scholarships will be awarded for the 2026-27 academic year to students enrolled in four-year and two-year colleges as well as ASE/NATEF-certified automotive, collision and heavy-duty/diesel post-secondary programs.
Students are considered for hundreds of scholarship opportunities from over 40 different organizations by filling out just one application.
