Groves, Texas—Larry and Patti King, owners of CARSTAR Port Arthur, officially welcomed guests to their new location during a grand opening event in Groves, Texas, on Tuesday, May 6. Approximately 85 guests, including residents, business partners, and members of the Groves Chamber of Commerce, came together to celebrate the launch of the state-of-the-art collision repair facility.
The evening featured refreshments, networking, shop tours, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the official start of operations. Guests had the opportunity to meet the owners and learn more about CARSTAR’s services.

“We’re incredibly excited to open CARSTAR Port Arthur and offer high-quality collision repair services backed by a trusted national brand,” said Larry King, co-owner of CARSTAR Port Arthur. “This is the beginning of a new chapter for us, and we’re looking forward to serving our customers with excellence. We’re also eager to host future community events, such as charity golf tournaments, to give back to the area that has supported us.”
King, who first joined CARSTAR in 2016, brings years of experience to the new venture, including a background as a former dealership owner.
Constructed from the ground up, the CARSTAR Port Arthur facility is I-CAR Gold certified.
