Women in Auto Care Wednesday events at AAPEX 2022 announced

Events will offer attendees multiple opportunities to connect with — and celebrate — women and their achievements in the industry

Bethesda, Md.—Women in Auto Care, a community of the Auto Care Association, announced its second annual “Women in Auto Care Wednesday” will take place Wednesday, Nov. 2, during the 2022 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. With three separate events throughout the day, Women in Auto Care Wednesday will offer AAPEX attendees multiple opportunities to connect with — and celebrate — women and their achievements in the industry.

Networking breakfast
The day will kick off with the Women in Auto Care Networking Breakfast, sponsored by Old World Industries, from 7 a.m. – 8: 50 a.m. PST. This year, the breakfast will be hosted at Sugarcane Raw Bar and Grill, located in the Venetian Hotel, adjacent to the Venetian Expo hallway. The Networking Breakfast offers an opportunity for community members to connect in a casual setting outside of busy show hours. The breakfast is open to everyone, but a ticket and pre-registration are required for entry. Tickets can be purchased for $50 each on the Women in Auto Care webpage.

Women in Auto Care reception
Closing out the day, the Women in Auto Care Reception will be held from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. PST in the ballroom of the Venetian Hotel. The reception is a celebration of diversity within the industry, bringing together attendees from all corners of the aftermarket. The reception is open to everyone and is free to attend.

Awards ceremony
In the afternoon, Women in Auto Care will host its annual awards ceremony from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. PST on the AAPEX Stage, located in the Venetian Expo Level Two Lobby. The Women in Auto Care award ceremony highlights the achievements of the community throughout the year, along with recognizing the winners of both the Women of the Year and Automotive Communications Awards. With more than 40 total awards presented, the ceremony celebrates both individual and company achievements throughout the entire channel of distribution. The awards ceremony is open to everyone and is free to attend.
