The platform provides shops with visibility across the entire campaign journey, from audience selection to inbound call performance
Monument, Colo.—Spark Interactive, a direct mail and video marketing agency specializing in the automotive repair industry, has announced the launch of Spark Manage, a marketing intelligence platform built specifically for independent and multi-location auto repair shops.
Spark Manage helps shop owners see what happens after a direct mail campaign reaches the mailbox. The platform integrates audience targeting, carrier route intelligence, campaign ROI tracking, call recording, call analysis, service advisor coaching, proof approvals, and order management into a single system.
“Most direct mail companies mail your postcards and disappear,” said Patrick Egan, Founder and President of Spark Interactive. “Shop owners are left guessing whether the campaign worked, whether the phone rang, and whether their team handled those calls well enough to book the appointment. We built Spark Manage to close those blind spots.”
For auto repair shops, direct mail remains one of the most reliable ways to reach local customers, but many campaigns are still managed with limited visibility, said the company. Shop owners may know how many pieces were mailed, but they often lack a clear picture of which neighborhoods performed, which calls came from the campaign, how those calls were handled, and whether marketing dollars turned into booked appointments.
The platform provides shops with visibility across the entire campaign journey, from audience selection to inbound call performance. Shops can map their existing customer database, compare customer concentration against USPS carrier routes, identify areas of opportunity, track campaign response, review call recordings, measure return on ad spend, and coach service advisors using real calls generated by the campaign.
Spark Manage includes several integrated tools:
Customer and Campaign Mapping geocodes a shop’s customer database and overlays it against USPS carrier routes, helping owners understand where their customers are concentrated, how deeply they have penetrated each neighborhood, and which areas offer the greatest growth opportunity.
Penetration Reporting breaks down selected carrier routes by customer count, lifetime spend, average spend, household income, home value, and demographic indicators, allowing shops to plan campaigns around business opportunity rather than geography alone.
Campaign ROI Dashboard tracks pieces mailed, calls generated, QR code scans, cards redeemed, and return on ad spend using the shop’s actual average repair order.
Call Intelligence Center records, transcribes, and analyzes inbound calls generated by a campaign. The system identifies key outcomes, including booked appointments, price objections, quoted prices, callback requests, vehicle information, and service categories.
Shop Call Coach, available as a premium add-on, scores inbound calls across key service advisor behaviors, including branded greeting, discovery questions, price handling, value building, appointment setting, and marketing ROI protection. The system also identifies coaching opportunities and generates role-play exercises based on real missed opportunities.
Proof Approvals and Orders gives clients a central place to approve postcard designs, review mail lists, and track campaign status without relying on long email chains.
Spark Manage also includes a Declined Services Retention Campaign feature that integrates with Tekmetric. The feature imports declined jobs data, identifies high-value service clusters by frequency and deferred revenue, and helps shops launch targeted direct mail campaigns to customers with open declined services.
According to Spark Interactive, clients using its direct mail programs have seen average returns of 11.9:1, with top-performing campaigns generating more than $70,000 in attributed revenue per 10,000 mail pieces delivered. Individual campaign results vary based on market, offer, audience, call handling, and shop operations.
Spark Manage is included with Spark Interactive direct mail campaigns and is designed for independent auto repair shop owners, general managers, service managers, and multi-location operators.
