Westerman brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience with Volvo, Tenneco, Genuine Parts Company and NAPA Auto Parts
Arlington, Texas—Driven Distribution Group (DDG), a warehouse distributor of automotive aftermarket hard parts, consumables, and accessories, has announced the appointment of Bill Westerman as its new CEO.
DDG stated that Westerman has been serving as acting CEO since February and during that time has developed a strong connection with the team, its culture, and the company’s long-term vision for growth.
Westerman brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across the automotive, manufacturing, transportation, and aftermarket sectors. His career includes leadership roles with Volvo Trucks North America in engineering, sales and marketing, and manufacturing, followed by plant leadership with Tenneco Automotive supporting major North American vehicle manufacturers.
In 2004, he joined Genuine Parts Company, where he served as a Division President for 12 years before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer for NAPA Auto Parts. Most recently, he served as CEO and board member of Road Tested Parts. Over the past year, Westerman has also served as an independent Board Member for Driven Distribution Group.
