Single parent in need receives gift of refurbished vehicle

The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides program, vehicle donor Allstate and repair partner Yoder Collision Network

Fort Collins, Colo.—A Fort Collins single parent of two received a life-changing gift: the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle this month as they continue to pursue their educational goals and care for their family.

The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides program, vehicle donor Allstate and repair partner Yoder Collision Network.

The presentation took place at the Allstate office located in Timnath, Colo. The recipient was nominated by Joy & Justice.  Founded in 2023, Joy & Justice was created with the sole purpose of bringing joy to families facing the challenges of domestic violence while advocating for transformation within the justice system.

A 2020 Toyota RAV 4 was presented to the anonymous Fort Collins resident. This person is a highly motivated and resilient individual who has made tremendous progress in the face of significant life challenges.

She is currently pursuing her Certified Nursing Assistant certification and is considering furthering her education. Without a dependable car, her ability to attend school, get to work, care for her children and maintain her forward momentum is severely limited.

Public transportation options are not sufficient for the demands of her schedule and family life. This donated vehicle will not only provide the stability she needs to stay on track with her education and career goals, but also alleviate financial pressure, allowing her to focus on building a sustainable and independent future. NABC noted that this gift of transportation is not a handout, but a bridge to continued self-sufficiency, economic stability and long-term success for her and her family.

Allstate, a Level One partner of the National Auto Body Council, has donated several hundred vehicles to people and organizations through the NABC Recycled Rides program, making it one of the largest car donor partners of NABC Recycled Rides.

Yoder Collision Network, an I-CAR Gold Class network, is a Northern Colorado-based auto body repair group (part of the larger Yoder Family of Companies) known for advanced, manufacturer-certified repairs, including being an official Tesla Certified Repair Center and handling OEM repairs for various brand.

Additional partners in this presentation include: BASF, LKQ, Premier Services, Dent Manager, Weld County Garage, Prime Time Auto Glass, ADAS Service Center, Pendersen Toyota, Jobber-Wesco Group, Copart, Advanced Remarketing Services, and Cars for Charity

NABC Recycled Rides is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Since the inceptionof the NABC Recycled Rides program in 2007, members of the NABC have donated more than 3,500 vehicles valued at some $51 million.
