Robert Estabrook grew a 45-year career in the parts industry beginning as a counter sales associate and eventually VP of Sales for Auto-Wares
Robert “Bob” Estabrook, of Bay City, Mich., one day shy of his 94th birthday, and who had a 45-year career in the auto parts industry, has passed.
Estabrook was born Sept. 29, 1930, in Bad Axe, Mich., and attended The Ohio State University before beginning a his long career at Northern Supply Company in 1950, which later was acquired by Auto-Wares Group of Companies.
He began his career as an auto parts counter sales associate before he was promoted to sales associate in 1961 for 10 years, and was promoted to sales manager. Estabrook then became Vice President of Sales until his retirement in 2000. Having been such a great sales manager, Auto-Wares created an award in his name for the Best Salesman of the Year.
