Expanded coverage includes 2026 model year vehicles and additional ADAS calibrations for both updates
Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.—Bosch Diagnostics released software update 7.1 and 7.2 for its Bosch ADS X series scan tool, continuing its monthly cadence of expanding vehicle coverage and diagnostic capabilities.
Both updates add 2026 model year vehicle coverage and additional ADAS calibrations, with more than 6,500 new special tests and system applications included in version 7.1 and more than 7,000 in version 7.2
“As vehicles become increasingly sophisticated, the diagnostic tools technicians rely on must keep pace,” said James Latham, product specialist at Bosch Mobility Aftermarket. “With ADS updates 7.1 and 7.2, we’re ensuring that shops have the coverage and calibration capabilities they need to confidently service the latest models and get drivers back on the road as quick as possible.”
Update 7.1 includes model year 2026 vehicle coverage along with additional ADAS calibrations, DTC, data support, bi-directional functions and ADS coverage. New vehicle makes covered in this update include Alfa Romeo, Chevrolet, Ford, Genesis, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, RAM, Subaru and Toyota.
Update 7.2 builds on that foundation with continued 2026 model year coverage and additional ADAS calibrations. New vehicle makes covered in this update include BMW, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, MINI Cooper, Nissan, RAM, Subaru and Toyota.
Bosch ADS X users with active subscriptions will receive the updates automatically for installation.
