Autel U.S. announces first recipients of Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarships

Each recipient will receive a $5,000 award to help further their education and training in the automotive trades

Port Washington, N.Y.—Autel U.S., has announced the five recipients of its first Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarships.

The $25,000 scholarship program, part of the company’s philanthropic initiative, Autel Cares, was created to recognize and support outstanding students pursuing careers in automotive repair and service.

Each recipient will receive a $5,000 award to help further their education and training in the automotive trades.

This year’s recipients are:

  • Cristian “Brady” Martins, of Parker, Colo., attending McPherson College, Kan. – pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Restoration Technology
cm

Brady’s first word was “Vroom” — and that passion for cars never faded. From restoring a 1965 Mustang with his mom to earning one of only 40 spots in McPherson College’s prestigious automotive restoration program, Brady embodies the spirit of craftsmanship.

“When I’m in the garage, covered in grease, I’m completely in my element. This scholarship lets me keep pursuing what I love most — bringing history back to life.”

  • Carter Kitts, of Zelienople, Pa., attending Rosedale Technical College, Pa. – studying Automotive Technology and Auto Body & Collision Repair
ck

Carter believes that the trades are the backbone of America’s workforce. With a focus on developing hands-on expertise and integrity in his craft, he’s building a career dedicated to service and skill.

“This scholarship helps me focus on perfecting my skills and giving back to the industry that keeps our nation moving. I’m motivated to make Autel proud.”

  • Mason Kleinfelder, of Homewood, Ill., attending Southern Illinois University–Carbondale, Ill.– pursuing a bachelor’s degree in automotive technology

From car shows with his grandpa to rebuilding trucks in high school, Mason’s journey has been fueled by curiosity and hard work. His projects taught him patience, teamwork, and pride in doing things right.

“Automotive repair isn’t just about fixing cars—it’s about solving problems, helping people, and taking pride in every detail.”

  • Isabella McDonald, of Savage, Pa., attending Universal Technical Institute of Pennsylvania – studying Automotive and Mechanical Repair Technologies

For Isabella, the garage is where she thrives. Surrounded by a family of mechanics and engineers, she’s passionate about hands-on work and believes the best technicians combine perseverance, precision, and preparation.

“Not every job goes by the book—but staying focused and doing it right every time is what defines a great technician.”

  • Rafael Luna, of Lewisville, Texas, attending Collin College, Texas – pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Collision Repair Technology
rl

Rafael discovered his calling in collision repair while in high school. Guided by mentors, he learned that craftsmanship means quality over speed and that each car carries the technician’s name and pride.

“This scholarship gives me the confidence to keep growing and to carry forward the lessons of patience, precision, and pride in my work.”

“These remarkable students represent the best of what’s ahead for our industry,” said Chloe Hung, CEO of Autel U.S. “Through their stories, we see not only technical skill but also the curiosity, perseverance, and pride that define great technicians. Supporting their education through the Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarships is an investment in the next generation of automotive excellence — an investment Autel is proud to make.”
