Executives of 25 multi-national companies have called for major new investments in hydrogen infrastructure for light-duty, transit and heavy-duty vehicle markets.

"The 2019 decision to revoke the state’s waiver to enforce its greenhouse gas pollution standards for cars and trucks was legally dubious and an attack on the public’s health and well being,” says EPA.
Governors seek standards to require all new passenger cars and light-duty trucks sold to be zero-emission by 2035 and all new medium-duty and heavy-duty vehicles sold to be zero-emission by 2045.
“We wanted to try and do something for our local healthcare workers and ... we realized we could also help support a local business,” says Dennis Truong.
The legislation (AB 904) would create a new tax credit, either 5 percent or 6 percent, designed to stimulate long-term capital investments in manufacturing.
