AAPEX calls for 2025 training session proposals close Friday

Some selected sessions to be part of “Joe’s Garage” that simulates a real-world auto repair shop environment. March 7 deadline.

Las Vegas—The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) is calling for session proposals at Joe’s Garage. Selected sessions will be presented live and in-person at AAPEX 2025 at the Venetian Expo & Caesars Forum in Las Vegas from November 4-6, 2025.

The deadline for submission is nearing: Submissions will be accepted until midnight Pacific time on Friday, March 7.

Joe’s Garage is a key feature of AAPEX. It offers 100-plus product and service training opportunities for automotive aftermarket technicians. It features nearly a dozen fully operational automotive service bays, complete with lifts and vehicles for hands-on learning and educational product demonstrations.

Successful proposals will center on either business management or technical training geared to the aftermarket community. Each proposal will be collaboratively evaluated by a panel of independent repair shop owners and technicians using an empirical scoring system.

Among the selection criteria are the following:

  • Relevance to the independent repair community.
  • Quality of the proposed session.
  • Achievable learning outcomes.
  • Presenter or trainer qualifications.
  • Relevance to attendees’ day-to-day work or career.

Session proposals that are promotional or “sale-sy” in nature will not be selected. Questions about session proposals should be directed to kelly@aapexshow.com.

Applicants may submit multiple proposals for consideration and be selected for up to six different possible sessions. Each successfully selected session will be awarded an honorarium of $500 per session, hotel accommodation, as well asa $750 stipend towards meals, transportation or other related incidentals.

Review the session proposal submission requirements for terms and conditions.
