Santa Fe Springs, Calif.—Pete’s Road Service, headquartered in Fullerton, Calif., was honored during the annual CTDA / 1-800EveryRim New Year Luncheon, Jan. 30. Third-generation owner Kyle Fletcher, the grandson of founder Pete Fletcher, stepped to the podium to accept his 50-year commemorative certificate. The California Tire Dealers Association will be honoring long-time members throughout 2020.
CTDA president and luncheon host Billy Eordekian, of 1-800EveryRim OEM Wheels, said, “I remember Pete and Glen Fletcher attending meetings back in the 70s and it’s great that Kyle is here continuing the family tradition of CTDA support.”
Also in attendance were those whom Eordekian recognized as “Godfathers of our industry,” including Tony Guldalian, of Grand Prix Tire and Automotive, Jack Phillips, of Commercial Tire, Kenny Kevorkian, who retired from United Vulcanizing, and Jay Goldberg, who retired from Globe Tire.
Featured speakers were TIA Vice President Dan Nothdurft, of Tires Tires Tires, and SEMA Director of Market Research Gavin Knapp.
