Pacific Northwest automotive association seeks executive director

Since 1959, this association has been the premier trade group representing its segment in the Pacific Northwest

Lakewood, Wash.—A long-established trade association serving the automotive service and repair industry in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska is seeking candidates for its executive director position, replacing its retiring executive director, Jeff Lovell. The position is scheduled to be filled by Feb. 1, 2022.

The position includes, but not limited to, managing daily operations and staff; overseeing financial, accounting, and budget issues; fundraising; managing three-day online and in-person training events with hundreds of participants; performing member outreach; and interfacing with an active board of directors. Evening and weekend meetings are frequent, plus regional and nation-wide travel are necessary throughout the year.

Since 1959, this association has been the premier trade group representing its segment in the Pacific Northwest. With more than 400 business members, the group is headquartered in Tacoma, Wash.

Candidates with post-secondary degrees, automotive industry experience, trade association expertise and certifications (including CAE), and/or business management experience will be considered. The position includes excellent compensation and benefits, a retirement program, and vehicle for use on association business.
