Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.—Agri-Energy Research LLC has launched its Coolant Correction Calculator, an Android app that allow technicians to easily correct the strength and mixture of ethylene glycol mixture in cooling systems. Cooling systems, which have been filled with an incorrect mixture of water and antifreeze, is a problem that does not have a great solution in the repair industry, said Curt Andres, owner and lead developer of Agri-Energy Research LLC.
“I have had a couple technicians and my students using it for over a year,” said Andres, who is also a longtime automotive instructor at Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., adding that it is also beneficial to professional technicians.
