Thursday, Oct. 21, 2-3 p.m (Or until close of business)

BAR will host a public workshop to discuss proposed regulations on storage fees for registered automotive repair dealers. The Bureau first presented on this topic at the October 2018 BAR Advisory Group meeting and has performed numerous presentations to both industry and insurance groups.

The proposed regulations would bring together existing laws governing storage fees under one unified regulation for automotive repair dealers and clarify BAR’s authority to address storage fee issues as a result of AB 471 (Low, Chapter 372, Statutes of 2021).
