Gerber Collision & Glass acquires repair center in Appleton, Wis.

Appleton, Wis.—The Boyd Group Inc. has announced the acquisition of a collision repair center in Appleton, Wis. The repair center operated as Peotter’s Collision Center at its current location since 1992.

Dating back to the 1890’s, Peotter’s Collision Center started as a blacksmith shop, according to its website. Peotter’s Collision Center has evolved from the past to become the Fox Valley areas premier vehicle collision repair facility and is I-CAR certified.

Owner Wayne Morgan and other business members purchased the business in 2006 and renamed it as Peotters Collision Center. As of 2010 Morgan and his wife, Renee, had purchased the business from the other members.

Appleton is the county seat of Outagamie County and the sixth largest city in Wisconsin. Located on the Fox River, Appleton is approximately 30 miles southwest of Green Bay and 100 miles north of Milwaukee. Appleton is home to Lawrence University and is known for its annual Mile of Music Festival.
