A total of 10 shops from two independent owner groups have been sold in the Seattle area
Seattle—Focus Advisors has announced the sale of two CARSTAR franchise shops — Cornforth-Campbell CARSTAR — owned by Kurt and Kathy Johnson, to franchisor, Driven Brands. It was also announced that Driven Brands has acquired eight other CARSTAR shops along the I5 corridor in the Seattle region owned by Jeff Middleton and Kevin Parsons.
“We built a business and a family atmosphere in these shops over many years,” said Kathy Johnson said. “We know the folks who helped us will find even more opportunities as they join a larger organization.”
Her husband, Kurt, agreed and added, “Its been 30 years of effort, toil and fun to get to this place. We are truly blessed with the opportunities we had along the way.”
Jeff Middleton said, “The journey from a single shop in 1994 to these eight shops was both tough and rewarding. It was never easy, but Kevin and I are proud of the operations we built and the people who helped us build the business.”
Parsons added, “Now its time for the people we trained and promoted to help take these shops to the next level. We are confident they will keep delivering quality and performance for the years to come.”
