California Autobody Association workshop to help shops avoid non-compliance penalties

Over the last few years, automotive employers and their businesses were assessed more than $2 million in initial penalties by LETF; learn how to stay compliant and avoid fines, May 19

San Diego—Over the last few years, automotive employers and their businesses inspected by the Labor Enforcement Task Force (LETF) were assessed more than $2 million in initial penalties. Representatives from the Labor Commissioner’s Office will describe some of the common problems LETF inspectors find in the automotive industry at this California Autobody Association (CAA) workshop.

Shops can learn how and where to get help to stay compliant and protect their businesses on Thursday, May 19:

• Wage and hour law requirements
• Rest breaks
• Paid sick leave
• Minimum wage and overtime
• Resources to help you understand and stay compliant
• Q&A
