TIA/MOHR to offer 10 virtual leadership classes

The classes include Retail Tire Store Leadership (vRTSL), Commercial Tire Store Leadership (vCTSL) and a new Retail Multi-unit Management (vRMM) course

Bowie, Md.—The Tire Industry Association (TIA) and MOHR Retail have scheduled 10 virtual tire store leadership classes in 2022 for retail, commercial and multi-unit operations managers. The classes include Retail Tire Store Leadership (vRTSL), Commercial Tire Store Leadership (vCTSL) and a new Retail Multiunit Management (vRMM) course.  

The three programs, geared toward different segments of the tire store industry, are designed to help managers and store leaders develop the interpersonal and leadership skills needed to retain, engage and enhance their teams’ productivity.  

All classes are taught via Zoom by Glen Nicholson, a former automotive service technician, tire store manager and district manager, and past senior director of retail training for TBC Corp. 

Depending on the course, classes meet between two and three and one-half hours each day. The class schedules are as follows:  

vRTSL:  

Class #1: Feb. 15, 17, 22, 24 and March 1, 3, 8, 10 

Class #2: March 29, 31 and April 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21 

Class #3: May 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 

Class #4: Sept. 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 and Oct. 4, 6 

Class #5: Oct. 24, 26, 31 and Nov. 2, 7, 9, 14, 16  

vCTSL:  

Class #1: Feb. 15, 17, 22, 24 and March 1, 3, 8, 10  

Class #2: May 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 

Class #3: Sept. 13, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28 and Oct. 3, 5  

vRMM:  

Class #1: March 23, 30 and April 6, 13, 20

Class #2: Oct. 11, 18, 25 and Nov. 1, 8
