CAWA appoints Gary Plover of Hitachi Astemo Americas to Manufacturers Advisory Council

Plover is vice president of Hitachi Astemo Americas Aftermarket Division and has been a part of the automotive industry for more than 25 years

Sacramento, Calif.—Gary Plover of Hitachi Astemo Americas, Inc. has been appointed to CAWA’s Manufacturers Advisory Council (MAC).

During the appointment process, CAWA Chair of the Board of Directors Michael Rukov said, “As the MAC continues to grow, we are pleased to have Gary join our leadership team and contribute to our discussions of current and future industry issues. We look forward to his participation and contributions which will assist the association in achieving its goals as an effective and valuable automotive aftermarket industry organization.”

Plover is currently the vice president of Hitachi Astemo Americas Aftermarket Division and has been a part of the automotive industry for more than 25 years. He served his first six years in OE sales for Nichirin on an international team that was responsible for mergers and acquisition worldwide. Plover moved to the aftermarket working for Aisin World Corp of America, Goodridge, Superwinch, and is currently at Hitachi Astemo Americas. He is instrumental in creating strategies that increase global sales significantly with a proven record of accomplishment in driving record-setting revenues.
